Warranty

WARRANTY:

Your Diamondback bike is covered under warranty by the manufacture. This warranty is extended to the initial consumer purchaser and is not transferable. Warranty registration is not required.

Frame: The entire frame, with the exception of the replaceable derailleur hanger, is warranted to be free from faulty materials or workmanship for a limited period of five (5) years only, subject to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.  If the frame should break due to faulty material or workmanship during the warranty period, the frame or bike will be replaced without charge to you, the subject to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.

Other Parts: All of the parts of the bike, including the fork but excluding the tires and tubes, are warranted to be free from faulty materials or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser, subject to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.  If any part fails to function properly due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, such part will be replaced without charge to you, subjects to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.

Tires and Tubes: All tires, tubes and brake blocks/pads are warranted to be free from faulty material and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of purchase by the original consumer purchaser; this excludes punctures and is subject to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.  If any tire, tube or brake block/pad fails to function properly due to faulty materials or workmanship during the warranty period, such part will be replaced without charge to you; this excludes punctures and is subject to the Conditions of Warranty set out below.

 

Conditions of Warranty:

1. Is it the responsibility of the original consumer purchaser to perform or provide all reasonable necessary maintenance and adjustments to keep the bike in good working condition. This warranty does not apply to damage caused by improper installation of parts, failure to properly maintain, failure to properly adjust all components including, but not exclusive to the brakes, shifters, cables, and derailleurs, including trueing of the wheels.
2. This bike has been designed for general transportation and recreational use. It is not made to withstand the abuse associated with stunt riding or jumping. This warranty shall immediately become null and void if you do any of the following: rent the bike; sell the bike; give away the bike; install a motor or otherwise modify the bike; ride the bike with more than one person; or use the bike for stunt riding or jumping.
3. This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear, malfunctions due to lack of adjustment or improper maintenance, damage caused by improper storage or transport, shipping damage, shipping damage, damage caused by either accidentally or deliberately by you or another, or damage caused as a result of using the bike for other than its intended purpose.

YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED BY THE ABOVE WARRANTY
